Repurposed

The Repurposed series explores how we can continue to use and value ‘waste’ materials. Hand-woven works using industry waste yarn and handmade cordage. The cordage is made from linen warp ends leftover from previous projects and combined with linen threads leftover from the offcuts of the ‘No Away’ series (previous work that repurposed textile offcuts from a local clothing designer/maker).

Repurposed I and II were shown at Design Nation’s Our Journey showcasing excellence, diversity and sustainability in craft and practices.
